You Need To Hire Me Before You Are Ready

Y’all. I’m about to share the biggest mistake you can make when it comes to pursuing your traditional book deal and building an audience (aka author platform) online.

Waiting until you’re “ready.”

Spoiler alert: that’s usually fear in disguise. There are very few legitimate times people aren’t actually ready to start doing this work. But our mind loves to fuck with us and keep us small.

Here’s a sample of what this fear sounds like from potential clients. Along with my responses.

Okay. Or you can get help identifying what those targets should be from an expert (hint: me!) who knows what you need to get a major book deal and who can direct you on what target to prioritize first. Not to mention offer support along the way — daily if you want and need it.

The question I like to pose — if you’re thinking like this — is why are you resisting help?

I wouldn’t want to make an investment like this too early if there’s a way I can get more out of it.
